DG: “I don’t expect to leave WHL a loser”

|

gold_2446989bDavid Gold does not to walk out of White Hart Lane tomorrow (Sun) a loser!

The raw edge of the bitter disappointment may have come off the edge of the West Brom game last weekend but it could quickly return if the team fails to get some sort of return from Spurs.

The co chairman -speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh- said:  “It’s been a difficult week. What with the defeat itself and the fall-out from it nobody has had an easy time. Then there was the situation with David Sullivan…it’s been difficult!

“The manager has the experience to deal with the speculation that’s been swirling around but now it’s back to business and we need a result.

“One league win in seven doesn’t make great reading although we probably deserve to have seen some win from  the draws, notably against Manchester United.

“However, we remain in need of a win and there’s no better place to get one than over there. Spurs are on top of their game but as I said in the week, we need a response.

“We have a full strength team out other than Andy Carroll but even that allows us to play the strike force of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia many fans have been calling for.

“Let’s put it this way. I don’t expect to leave White Hart Lane a loser!”

Hope you told BFS because we all feel the same,
If we don’t win do something about it and keep our respect.

I share your unease mate, if we don’t get a response after last weekend and we get a doing. Then I believe our whole season will be in serious danger of unraveling.

I believe we have reached a pivotal point not only in our season but possibly in our recent evolution.
Therefore I’m not really bothered about the performance per say, just the result. There is a lot more than three points at stake.

Relax guys, we are going to win. I have discovered an infallible formula which accurately predicts our results. As long as both Laurenson and Michael Owen predict a loss for us, we win. They have. Therefore we can all chill. These two are wrong about West Ham’s results so frequently, that if both say we will lose, you can be secure in the knowledge that at worst, we will come away with a draw. I’m even looking forward to it now 🙂

Sick of listening to Sams’ excuses,Quote ” We don’t seem to be able to keep a winning position since Christmas , too many draws from a winning position ”
Well Sam I suspect your unbelievable substitutions may have some bearing on those results, why don’t you take responsibility for those , it’s your bloody fault, go now and let us bed in a decent Manager who will have no favourites and who has some really good tactical knowledge and knows what to do to keep a lead.

WELL COLES’ INJURY SHOULD SEE US NOT LUMPING THE BALL FORWARD FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON, SO THE RESULTS SHOULD PICK UP, SAM WILL OF COURSE TAKE THE APPLAUSE EVEN THOUGH THE TEAM WILL ACTUALLY PICK ITSELF FROM NOW ON, ALL WE NEED NOW IS NOLAN OUT FOR THE SEASON AND ALL WILL BE WELL.
