DG reckons it’s a Watford win or bust match

|

Gold2David Gold has made it clear nothing less thn a win at the London Stadium at Watford on Saturday will be good enough.

He really sees it as win or bust as the Irons bid to move on from a point a game status to at least a point and a half by winning.

Speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh DG said: “No disrespect but we really must be beating teams of Watford’s status at home if we see ourselves as the top third side I believe us to be.

“We have several of our best players back including Dimi Payet and we are very confident that we can get the result we need.”

DG is covinced we are a top third club and believes the lads will be on their way after tomorrow’s game saying: “It’s only the second home game of the season but like the Bournemouth game it’s a must win match.

“It seems crazy to be talking like that at this stage of the season but that’s where we have come to. Our players want to be playing European football. That’s the kind of club we are becoming so we need to get the ball really rolling here.”

It’s ok to say you are a top 7 team but you have to prove it on the pitch, no slow starts get at these teams from the first seconds and don’t ease up until the final whistle is blown !!!
