Diallo bid rejected

The Irons have had a £15m offer for the services of the Strasbourg striker Habib Diallo reportedly turned down.

Diallo is one of many players that have been linked with West Ham since the start of the Summer transfer window.

He had a prolific goal scoring season in the French Ligue 1, knocking in 20 goals in 37 appearances and as a result has had the likes of Villa, Brentford, Newcastle and the newly promoted Burnley are interested in him.

It remains to be seen whether we will put in an improved offer.

The Strasbourg man is currently valued at £18m according to Transfermarkt and he is contracted to the club until 2025.

The Hammers seem to be involved in their normal procedure of making initial lowball offers before before ul;pping to a cmpromised acceptable offer.

Whether that is the case her remains to be seen or whether this is simply another of those regular rumours.
