Diop being eyed by top French outfit

|

Issa Diop demonstrated this afternoon why reports are circulating that Paris St Germain are keen to buy the young Frenchman in the summer.

The French champions are understood to be ready to offer anything up to £50 million for a player who showed what he is all about at the Power King Stadium today (Sun) after a series of mediocre or worse performances.

Diop looked a fabulous buy when arriving from Toulouse but has lately failed to impress and was an emergency replacement for Kurt Zouma this afternoon where he excelled.

His performances for the claret and blue outfit even led to Man United boss Jose Mourinho labelling him a ‘monster’ after West Ham’s victory against his side when he was in charge at Old Trafford.

PSG have made their interest well known in Europe and the story is now being picked up around the UK and with the unpredictable Zouma scenario still going on he may get the chance to show what he is really all about again over the next few weeks.

Diop was born to a Moroccan mother and Senagalese father but has confirmed that he wants to play his international football for France.
