The Hammers may receive a second boost for the Everton game with Theo Walcott now probably less than fifty/fifty to make the game for The Toffees.
With Richarlison ruled out via suspension, it has now emerged that the former Gooner may also be unavailable for the game.
Walcott left the draw with Huddersfield after picking up a rib injury, and although there is a chance he could feature it’s a thin one.
Should he be declared unfit, manager Marco Silva will have something of an attacking crisis on his hands with no Richarlison and the status of new signing Bernard unknown heading into the week.
Walcott’s chance will be left in his own hands according to reports and should he suffer no fresh pain in his rib in the lead up to the game he will be given the all-clear.
The former Arsenal man has been one of Everton’s best players so far and his appearance would be crucial for the Merseysiders.
Those two always play well against us…what could possibly go wrong now? Things like this can be turning points in a club’s season. You sometimes just need a couple of breaks. We probably need more than a couple-but fingers crossed for season lift off.
Why is it we always seem to rely on the misfortune of an opposition team? Will it make our task any easier? Somehow I doubt it.IMHO.
I seem to recall that other teams benefit from our injuries throughout previous seasons.I remember when we did not even have one single attacking option for 3 games .
Good that argueably their two fastest players won’t be playing but we need to have a mindset to take the game away from them and destroy them COYI !!!
I still think We should have got Walcott.
The other bonus is that Lukaku is not playing for them anymore!
