Ex: Youngster eyed by League One club

|

Derby County are eyeing a deal to sign Armstrong Oko-Flex from West Ham, according to ExWHUEmployee.

The League One club have appointed Liam Rosenior as their new manager after the departure of Wayne Rooney in the wake of their relegation from the Championship.

They have subsequently signed 11 players to bolster the squad and Rosenior is now said to be eyeing a potential loan swoop for Oko-Flex.

An Ireland U20 international, the forward joined the club last summer from Celtic but has yet to make a dent in the first-team.

He has played 23 times for the U23s and has scored 12 goals, while also registering two assists, but he has yet to make his senior debut for the Irons.

Oko-Flex has repeatedly been on the bench under David Moyes but the boss has yet to throw him into a first-team game.

He has only made two senior appearances in his career and both came for Celtic, though they totalled just 39 minutes of SPL action.
