Exciting Hammers prospect fit for Everton

|

Exciting 18 year old Academy product Harrison Ashby has recovered from a badly sprained finger and looks set to take his place in the starting eleven at Everton on Wednesday night.

The right back was taken off after a long delay during the big win over Hull City following a highly impressive performance after being drafted in to the team when Issa Diop was tested positive covid.

Now with Ryan Fredericks injured and Ben Johnson almostĀ  certainly required for Everton should the former Fulham man be unavailable, the teenager may get a chance to start. Fredericks faces a scan tomorrow (Tues).

Ashby has been seen twice in the Carabao Cup competition- coming on as a late sub against Charlton and producing a fine performance against Hull.

Manager David Moyes, with Diop not available, could line up with Ashby alongside Alese, Balbuena and possibly even Cresswell although the left side looks something of an issue given the upcoming game atĀ  Leicester City.

Elsewhere we would expect to see Yarmolenko, Noble, Snodgrass and Anderson across the middle with Lanzini behind Haller.
