West Ham have admitted they have a struggle on their hands in their attempts to extend Jarrod Bowen’s current contract.

The Hammers hero and prolific goal scorer’s current deal runs out in June 2025 and despite making several offers to his representative the position remains deadlocked.

The club has revealed exclusively to Claret and Hugh that it has been talking to the player’s agent for six months without managing to reach agreement.A number of clubs – with Liverpool prominent among them – have been linked with the player who thus far has scored 52 goals during his time with the club.

And he was of course responsible for the Conference winning goal in Prague before opening this season with goals against Bournemouth and Brighton last weekend.

Talks between the clubs and his agents are continuing with a major London Stadium source declaring exclusively : “Yes, talks have gone on for six months and are continuing.”

If Jarrod Bowen Was to decide that his future laid elsewhere, would that not risk some domestic disharmony?

If Jarrod is determined to go elsewhere, like Declan, we won’t be able to stop him. But if it’s money, pay it!!!!!

  • Dodger01 says:

If Bowen was to leave say the end of this season, I think he would be more missed than Declan rice

  • Dalkirst says:

Take over £100m and buy another 2 or 3 top quality players (that’s if Kudus isn’t already up and better than him if the time comes)

  • Doctor Doom says:

If we have to sell him, anyone but Loserpool!!!
