Fab looks for more home comfort

|

Lukasz Fabianski has returned from international duty full of confidence that the London Stadium factor can inspire the Irons to a win over Everton this weekend.

The side has now gone seven games undefeated at home which includes three wins on the bounce and  five in all of them.

It could hardy be a more dramatic from the earlier days when the club was considered the major problem with the team’s form.

The last win over Huddersfield may have been as scruffy as they come but it demonstrated the resilience in the team and the kind of atmosphere the fans can demonstrate when the chips are well and truly down.

Now Fabianski has explained that after a successful Poland international excursion he is ready to enjoy the home advantage clearly set up by the team over recent weeks as the Hammers continue to keep their eyes firmly fixed on that seventh position.

He told www.whufc.com: “Now I’m back with the team here and we want to finish the season strongly. We have another home game and the home form has been good for us recently, so hopefully that will continue.”

He added: “Maybe the fans would like to see it more often, but as a player you want to have a bit more control of the game, but it’s all about the win.

“If we get the three points everyone will be happy, the team, the staff, the manager and the fans. It’s all about the three points.

“We are going into the stage of the season where we are playing teams going for something or are around us, so that’s another challenge. Obviously we want to keep pushing and get as much as we can from the rest of the sea
