Fabianski tops European table

|

West Ham Lukasz Fabianski has made the most saves out of any goalkeeper in Europe’s top five leagues with 131 saves this season.

Fabianski joined from relegated Swansea City last summer for £7m on what has become the signing of the season, an award he is sure to pick up at the Players awards.

Add to that will surely be the 2018/2019 Hammer of the year which West Ham fans will reward him for his terrific form all season.

West Ham currently sits in 11th position in the Premier League table but that would be a lot lower if Fabianski hadn’t been personally responsible for salvaging points from some world-class saves this season.

Fabianski has cemented his number one position in goal and is almost undroppable, his teammate Adrian is likely to leave this summer after his contract comes to an end so the Hammers are looking for Fabianski’s understudy next season.

Not entirely sure that’s a statistic we should be proud of and suspect it means our defence is worse than Frosinone, Calgari, Hannover 96 and Parma

Hannover 96 keeper really should change his name.

That suggests if we hadn’t had Fabianski in goal we’d probably have been relegation candidates.

Not only most saves but also think 2nd in high grabs too. He has been stand out this season imagine if we had a solid back line…
And to think we ant Pickford even if £10m not £50m I’d rather keep Fab.
Tho I would have 22yo Dean Henderson to play understudy or Pope
