The renamed Real West Ham Fans group met today for the first time since group founders Andy Swallow and Micky Morgan stepped down last week.
A statement on social media from the reformed group read: “RWHF have today held our first committee meeting and after having consulted all other fan groups within our group we have decided to fully support the protest group by way of a static demonstration prior to home fixture versus Southampton on Saturday 31st March 2018.
Events before, during and after the Burnley fixture when heated exchanges occurred between our own fans along with other incidents cannot be allowed to continue and we have therefore reached the decision to give our full support to the static demonstration. We urge all our members to join us in giving your full support.”
If you really want to see a static protest, just watch our back four, or Joe Hart at a corner…..
Ha ha ha ha ..
dont you think you have caused enough problems if you keep on rocking the boat it will sink
the media are feasting on our blood and you are just continually stirring the pup and as i and the vast majority of west ham fans do not agree with your actions
I am not sure about the majority of fans but I think…pitch invasion not on. Throwing missiles at the owners not on. Protest inside the stadium understandable but counter productive because it impacts team performance.
Peaceful protest before and after the game…I support because the board need to understand West Ham is not a franchise to be squeezed for maximum profit.
But during games, let’s just focus on getting behind the team – they need us.
Any demonstration will be carried into games by some fans. Its unavoidable. The priority is to stay up otherwise we may not return. I think these ‘real fans’ would be proud if that happened
What an idiotic remark. Why on earth would any fan be proud of relegation?
