Feyenoord boss on West Ham radar

|

According to The Times, we are now looking at the Feyenoord manager Arne Slot as a replacement for David Moyes in the summer

Slot, 44, has turned the previously uncompetitive Feyenoord into Eredivisie’s runaway leaders this season – winning 20 of their 28 league games – and his coaching style has drawn praise from a number of pundits.

However, we are expected to face competition from both the Spuds and Crystal Palace for his services as manager.

Slot has emerged as one of Europe’s most promising managers over the past few seasons, and whether or not this is just speculation, it could be just the thing we need. A young coach with fresh ideas and an attacking mind set.

After spending over £165million  on transfers last summer, and with the possibility up to £100million more to spend this summer when Declan Rice leaves the club, Slot would certainly be given free rein over the personnel he wanted to bring into the club.
