Fonte: ‘Irons trying so hard to do what manager wants’

|

Jose-Fonte-762210Injured Hammer Jose Fonte spoke today of how Marko Arnautovic’s attitude has changed on the training round during his time at West Ham.

Arnie scored the goal which beat the Blues at the London Stadium looking worth every penny of his £25 million record transfer fee.

Fonte was in the Sky studio commenting on the match against Chelsea and said: “I’ve definitely seen a change of attitude.

“He is so keen to please everyone at the club and he is a truly great guy for the dressing room – such a lot of fun. He is a player which can become absolutely massive for us.”

And of the Hammers performance overall he added: “What I saw was a discipline and determination to go on and win the game. It was great.

“I am delighted for the players and the fans. David Moyes has been working hard on the tactical side, shape and positioning and you could see today the players are listening and trying hard to do what he wants.”

I like Fonte still can’t believe Sulky said that or I can but about 2 players who still play for u..one out injured doing punditry who has been good this season. The other who will never come back &,was bought as LWer Bilic had no idea where to use him he was never going to replace Payet but not a bad player.
