Former Hammer Jack Wilshere has admitted he is interested in a move to Spain or Italy after he cancelled his West Ham £100,000 per week contract by mutual consent.
Speaking to Talksport Wilshere revealed he will ‘take a week or two’ to make up his mind as a free agent
‘I think I want to try something different, LaLiga or Italy, something not many English players have done,’ the former Arsenal midfielder told talkSPORT.
Wilshere had been linked to move to Glasgow Rangers or a return to Arsenal since leaving West Ham but that is now in doubt after his latest comments.
‘I will probably take a week or two to decide. I was in this position at Arsenal and if I learned anything from that it is to take your time. It’s not that I have any regrets at joining West Ham, I just need to take the time. I just want to be happy playing football again,’ Wilshere told Darren Bent.

It’s PR – saying the same things before joining us – his boyhood club – blah blah – then for 100k per week plus signing fee he played 3 full games in a total of 19 appearances whilst polishing his gold sick note. We have had a decade of this with him and AC – caviat emptor.
Doubtless Jack will be going to Betis to team up with Pellegrini. Or perhaps not …
