Whilst all football rumours must be taken with a pinch of salt, the latest reported developments at the London Stadium are truly shocking.
If the reports surrounding Tim Steidten and Mark Noble are true, they surely have no future at West Ham United football club.
It has been suggested by Talk Sport today that Hammers Sporting Director Mark Noble and Director of Football Tim Steidten’s advice on David Moyes’ managerial replacement is not being used.
Furthermore, it has been noted that the likely appointment, Julen Lopetegui, is the client of Will Salthouse, who has a reputation of being one of West Ham chairman David Sullivan’s favoured agents.
I would like to make it absolutely clear that these accusations are completely unsubstantiated at this point. However, if it is true that the club is using the managerial recommendations of favoured agents rather than their in-house football directors, then it will leave both Noble and Steidten with very difficult decisions to make.
The stories come at a time when manager David Moyes and Tim Steidten are avoiding each other at the stadium and the training ground.
The whole situation appears to be a complete mess and certainly not one that is replicated by other Premier League clubs. West Ham will need to demonstrate clear leadership, decision making, and action immediately if this in-fighting is not to descend into complete anarchy.

think it’s disgusting how the club have been actively speaking to potential succesers and letting the media broadcast it when obviously they haven’t told Moyes he is not going to get to stay.
Once again we come across as unprofessional as we did with Avram Grant and Big Sam!
Surely they should have let Moyes go after we got beaten in Europe.

Moyes didn’t not want a new contract after end of last year he wanted to either go head held high or pay of last year. Sully wouldn’t do either said finish you last year and we will review then. Steidman will know after year at the funny farm it ain’t moyes the issue.

Sullivan needs to step down and sell up he is only interested in the amount of money he can make from the club what’s the point in noble and steidmen being at the club if Sullivan doesn’t take any notice of what they have to say looks like they are only there for show as for a new manager is concerned he will go with whoever is the cheapest not who would benefit the club
Let’s just hope Mr West Ham and Timmy can get their point across, because I have read articles about Loppys style and it basically says he’s the Spanish Moyes and we all know there’s no point in going like for like but on the other hand I did read a rather inspiring interview that Loppy done so he may of changed his philosophy and we might see a different side to him, only time will tell well a couple of months
Is there any truth in the news that Steidten rode a pink elephant into the training ground which is why Moyes banned him. Apparently Moyes has a pet lion at the training ground which scared the bejesus out of Steidtens elephant. Although the ground keeper was quite happy for all the manure to fertilise the pitches with. I heard Mark Noble turned up on a unicycle and then it all got a bit heated between the lot of them until David Sullivan turned up in a clown suit and made them all laugh.

The perennial problem has always been David Sullivan. He knows how to make billions but not how to manage a business.
Sullivan’s record of appointing managers is appalling. He has no appreciation for the 60,000 mugs that queue to buy season tickets. Only on survival in the PL because that’s what keeps his share value high.
Overriding Steidten and Noble’s advice would be folly. I feel sure that Steidten and Noble were brought in at the request of other shareholders to get Sullivan away from interfering in football matters. If that is so and he upsets investors and be sure, fans alike then Sullivan will have shot himself in the foot…

Sullivan is his own worst enemy you have a director of football with all of his knowledge. We know what is capable of and yet it seems he wants to take more notice of money grabbing agent. I hope this isn’t true as I buy four season tickets each year and will not be renewing.
I will not be renewing my three season tickets if Tim Staton doesn’t get the man he wants if you employ a person to do a job you should let them do. It is not the right manager for us and Sullivan knows it.

When Lopetegui was managing Wolves how many West Ham supporters actually sat down and watched all their matches?Probably not a lot?
