Former West Ham loanee striker Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri have outscored West Ham in the league this season managing 7 goals between them in the La Liga to the Hammers combined six in total.
Former-West Ham striker Simone Zaza looks to have turned his career around since exiting The London Stadium earlier this year, after netting an incredible nine-minute hat-trick for Valencia in a La Liga victory last week.
Los Che triumphed 5-0 over Malaga at the Mestalla but with the game firmly in the balance at 1-0 in the 54th minute, the 26-year-old single-handedly took the game away from the visitors with a sensational treble; his third goal scored in the 63rd minute. That feat consigned Malaga to yet another loss, after previously losing their first four games and extended Valencia’s unbeaten start to the season Zaza now has five goals to his name this season.
Meanwhile, former West Ham striker Jonathan Calerri has scored two important goals for Las Palmas in six La Liga league matches with the team only managing 5 goals all season. He too seems to have gained a new lease of life and confidence.
Zaza joins the list of players who Bilic has failed to get the best out of. Although it might be worth checking whether Zaza has added to that goal tallyby Christmas!
Awful isn’t it. But we have the players to score need to press more & added creativity would be nice. Feghouli had a wonder strike yesterday still can’t believe only sold for £4m be great in squad.
We are lacking development and training
