Foxes boss admits the VAR truth

|

Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers’ response to his team escaping the London Stadium with a point summed everything up.

There is now no doubt that the Hammers should have had a third goal via Lucas Perez who was clearly onside, despite his strike just before the second equaliser. being ruled out.

And after Manuel Pellegrini had made it clear that VAR would have made all the difference in the world to the result there was little argument from the Foxes boss.

He summed up his views with just five words and a grin: “Thankfully VAR isn’t out yet.”

That will of course infuriate all of us but it demonstrates the ill luck we are getting at the hands of officials when even the opposition boss all but admits that the goal should have stood.

VAR should have been introduced ages ago and next season will be very different, In the meantime the Rodgers remark will provide more than a low growl from Irons fans.

for as long as var as been talked about i have always been against the idea , stopping the game all time and not letting it flow ,maybe even ruining the game altogether, now after another 3pts on saturday are lost i am not so sure,
maybe its me but westham seem to be getting more of the wrong decisions against them than any other team. 5pts in a week is a bit much,is there no one else that thinks the real score at man utd last week was 2-0 to us, didnt we win ,3-2 saturday, didnt we beat liverpool 1-0 at our place, 0-0 draw at man city taking away the dodgy pen they were given.cannot remember to many of these dodgy decisions going our way this season or last for that matter, add all these pts up and we are in 7th position that we have been aiming for, roll on next season we might just get the pts we should have

Ole had the same thoughts after Man U game saying they were lucky….. 2 offside goals & not by a centimetre like some by a metre.
Lines mam should see this & if close with evey other tram it goes with goal scorer bc seen plenty offside by just a bit stand this season.
