Foxes boss gets dreaded vote of confidence

|

Leicester City chairman  Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has given his manager Claude Puel the dreaded vote of confidence on the eve of their match against the Irons. Srivaddhanaprabha declared his full backing for the Foxes boss and added the team owe it to the fans to bounce back against us after their 5-0 drubbing by Palace at Selhurst Park.

Writing in his end of season programme notes for tomorrow’s game, Khun Vichai said they must live up to the club motto – Foxes never quit.

He said: “As I write this, we still have three important Premier League matches to play, games in which I want us to stand together, proudly – players, staff and supporters – and fight to cross the finishing line in the strongest way possible.

“At the heart of our football club is a spirit and determination to fight for everything – for points, for league positions and for each other. No matter what is at stake, Foxes never quit.

“We, as a club, owe it to you, our fans, to respond positively to the disappointment of last weekend’s result.

“The best way to achieve this is to come together, to support our team, support our manager and to create the kind of atmosphere that has made King Power Stadium our fortress.

“Our manager Claude, our coaching staff and the players have my full support, and I would ask you to also get behind them this (Saturday) afternoon, and let your voices be heard.

“Our players can inspire our fans with their skill, with their creativity and with their tireless endeavour.

“Our fans can return the inspiration to our team with their passion, their energy and their positivity. Together, we can make the difference.”
