Tim Steidten’s West Ham future appears uncertain following winter transfer window frustrations!

Frustrated Steidten’s uncertain Hammers future

He and the manager had various differences of opinions over what players the club needed with Moyes setting his heart almost solely on Kalvin Phillips.

The technical director was looking for a striker but Moyes was rejecting the need for one and giving a thumbs down top the majority of names mentioned in boardroom talks.

Moyes  – whilst not entirely happy with his central strikers – preferred to go with what he had  and was allegedly unimpressed with efforts to get Ibrahim Osman who has since agreed terms with Brighton for a summer move.

Claret and Hugh was told by background London Stadium sources that whilst the pair get on as people, the technical director is frustrated by the number of names the manager rejects during windows.

And unless a new accord can be reached between the pair there can be can certainty that Steidten would be ready to remain at a club where he may see his job as being compromised.

Claret and Hugh – not expecting an explicit response – asked its main source whether there was any truth in Steidten possibly joining Liverpool and was told : “Who knows?”
