|

payetWest Ham Chairman David Gold has been quick to quash Dimtri Payet injury rumours.

Asked on twitter whether Payet was injured Gold told his 123,000 followers “Payet is training with the first team squad and is available for selection. dg”

And it’s not just West Ham fans who are interested whether Payet  is fighting fight or not, the 28 year old French International is a firm favourite amongst Fantasy football players who are desperate to know whether he will be available to score them points in their Fantasy teams come Monday night.

Payet is included in 8.3% of all Fantasy teams on the official Fantasy Premier League having scored 20 points so far this season. Only Kouyate has scored more points this season with a tally of  25 points to his name and has been selected in 5.2% of all fantasy teams.

it would have been a massive loss to lose our best player in years gone by. What’s great about the current squad is if Payet was injured we still have a lot of quality players that could come in and do a job in the team.

    Who starts these silly rumours,
He is at the moment the most influential player we have but if he were injured we have great ball players in our squad but I think we would play slightly differently,
Although Lanzini,Moses,Zarate and Valantino are all good with the ball at there feet only Callum has the ball distribution quality, free kicks and corners are not a problem either
But it’s the longer balls and vision Payet has that makes the difference
If I were the opposition I would man mark him and hence keep him out of the game,
That is were are big squad will come into play,
