Good news on the injury front

Everybody's beatable including Arsenal

West Ham have finally received a piece of good news on the injury front.

With Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Mikey Antonio injured and Mo Kudus and Nayef Aguerd away at Afcon it really is badly needed.

Good news on the injury front

There never seemed a great deal of problem with Mavropanos although one can never be certain although it now appears he will definitely be ok for the FA Cup Third Round replay against Broistol City tomorrow evening (Tues)

The Greece international is clearly back and ready to play ahead of our replay at Ashton Gate tomorrow given that he appeared in pictures on the Hammers official site in training.

The central defender suffered an injury to his rib but all appears to be well and he is likely to team up with either Kurt Zouma or Oggy for the game.

That may prove a tricky choice for manager David Moyes with the captain unable to play more than one match a week and Sheffield United away the next on our agenda at the weekend.

Oggy has been in great form over recent games when needed but given the weakness of the team with so many absentees the boss may choose to go with Zouma.

He has few choices up front other than Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma neither of who have been particularly impressive this term.

It look like – but hopefully not – a long night ahead.
