Half Time: Irons 0 Bournemouth 2

|

Two horrendous howlers from Aaron Cresswell have gifted Bournemouth a two goal interval lead with both goals coming from striker Callum Wilson in the 11th and 28th mins.

The Irons though have been a shambles all over the pitch and could have been further behind had The Cherries taken their chances.

Cresswell was beaten on the right side with shocking ease by Francis who crossed for Wilson to slam home an unstoppable drive.

And Cresswell’s  dreadfully short back pass in the 28th was seized on by Wilson to extend the lead as the Ironswwere smashed onto the ropes.

Jenkinson on the right side looked just as dodgy as the visitors poured forward and he twice lost possession in dangerous positions.

All the football came from Bournemouth and Francis was just wide with a fearsome drive before Gradel drew a sensational save from Randolph.

What is Aaron Cresswell doing, two lethal mistakes…
Jenks was also horrible as well, no idea how to defend, and run into opponent’s defence.
Randolph is NOT at fault at BOTH goals, he did a brilliant save to keep it at a respectable scoreline…..
Clueless defence and that doesn’t help with the attacking part.

No hope of a comeback and I think if we want to savage a point you need to get Lanzini on ASAP.

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

    PENALTY!!!!!!! fingers crossed

  • Sam Official says:

Hmmmm the season hasn’t started too well eh lads?

Cups ear to the booing from West Ham fans at half time.

  • stanhammer says:

Guess this is what you get when you opt for fantasy /delusional football looks like QPR hate to say it but knowing your level helps to survive in the premier league its a points business and players and managers need to enforce defend first and play at high tempo and keep it simple as per Pardew and dare I say it Allardyce.!

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

    UNBELIEVABLE 2-2!!!

  • canchaz says:

Seems to me it’s not our front end we should be worrying about but our defence. 2 goals last week, 3 already today. Bet a certain ex manager is laughing

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

Here comes the king of offside…why not Lanzini…

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

Randolph conceded 4 and he was totally not responsible for them.
    I LOST FOR WORDS
Cresswell and Jenkinson are just as SH*T as you can ever imagine…

  • canchaz says:

Questions that have to be answered, 6 goals conceded in 2 games. Have we got an “attacker” problem or a defence problem. Are Cresswell and Jenkinson looking like one season wonders ?.
Who was it who said “it’s not how you start that counts. Its how you finish” Let’s hope he was right.

    • Sam Official says:

No lad they are not one season wonders. You just have to play to their strengths. Passing the ball from the back isn’t one of them.

  • JimmyF says:

Didnt think it would take long for the sad b*stards to start mentioning Allardyce.F*ck Allardyce!!!!

  • whambam says:

Fat Sam on Match of the day tonight, I’ll be watching a film

  • SlimJim says:

Sam Official showing what a sad life he lead, bless him, maybe we should find him a girlfriend!!

  • Richie says:

Not sure what is going on with our full backs. After we got back to 2-2 I was just hoping and praying we would get out with a point today. It seems Bilic has a lot to learn about the premiership and his squad, which is fine, he is entitled to that as he is new to all this. We will start the season with 3 points from 4 games and probably near the bottom. It will then all be about how we progress when a few players come back and a few more players sign. I am not worried but i am disappointed and I hope this is a season in which we get better as it progresses! But again, to concede 6 at home in two games is shocking. I think our defence needs to get some of the basics right first.

  • SlimJim says:

I think anyone who doesnt give a new manager time to gel with the players & sort things out is crazy. But it is a results business with impatient fans.I for one will give him plenty of time, the same as i did Allardyce.

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

I think it’s not the fault of Bilic at all, it’s totally down to individual performance of Cresswell and Jenkinson, where they are both reponsible for 2 of the goals conceded.
You are basically commiting suicide to make these mistakes, maybe you’re fine with 1 but 2 from each of them is just horrible.
You have absolutely no chance at this level if you can’t do basic defending.

Randolph did his best but the rest of defence…

  • Tony Ironworks says:

Seen it all before supporting The Irons.Over 50 years of ups & many downs for me.I guess people will be in temper tantrums & hissy fits tonight.Whats the point, give Bilic time for heavens sake.Three matches!! I really despise some forum fans.None of you above may i add.But having been on the WHTID match thread earlier it makes me realize how many wannabee clueless armchair managers we have, lol,

  • essexclarets says:

Losing & playing badly.. where is the team that beat arsenil two weeks ago..??
i know it’s early but these last two games should have been bread & butter for us. Not worried yet but we have to find a way to finish games with 11 players… squad isn’t good enough for this to keep happening.
Why the hell is nolan still getting game time??

    • Richie says:

I wouldn’t exactly say Leicester and Bournemouth are two ‘bread and butter’ games. Except for Man City you could argue they are the two inform teams at the start of the season so I knew these two games were going to be tough but it is the way we have conceded 6 goals which has disappointed me the most. Our full backs have been at fault for all the goals we have conceded thus far this season. It is almost as if the season has started too quickly for us. We need to sign a few more players and we need to get this squad sorted and playing to its strengths.

  • COYI@HK Ching says:

How many red cards do we have since the start of the season?
Sakho, Tomkins, Collins, Bilic, Adrian, Jenkinson.
    WHO’S NEXT?…SIGH

  • kevin says:

BILIC OUT .. FULL STOP .
WRONG SELECTION AS MANAGER .. FULL STOP .
    CLUELESS .. FULL STOP .
Can’t use defensive errors as excuse as there was no system apart from kick it and see .
Desperately want West Ham to stay in the Premiership and do something special , but with BILIC my dreams gave been shattered after only three games .
Now it would seem we need more than a new Striker ;; we need , midfield , defense ect ect. This could be my lowest day as a West Ham Fan & Supporter . To see us lose to a recently promoted side so convincingly is soul destroying . They were better than us in every department … Too late now ,, we have BILIC . God help us .. Where is the new System that so depicts the ” West Ham ” way ??. Bollox .
When will the Fans understand that points are more important than playing pretty football .
I have seen so much pretty football at Upton Park without winning anything it makes your head spin . Today didn’t even approach pretty ,, in fact it was Downright Ugly .

  • Twinkle Toes Nolan says:

Kevin, you are a nasty piece of work.Either extremely drunk or just a real idiot.Sorry but you are all i hate about todays fans on forums!!!

    • COYI@HK Ching says:

Agree, I would not blame Bilic, ofcoz I was disappointed with Nolan being handed a rare start instead of what we thought instead of Lanzini.
Nolan was ineffective as you could imagine but the problem lies with Cresswell and Jenkinson today.
When you try to build up play from the back, they are the two burdens(hopefully just today), clueless in going forward and commited mistakes leading to 2 goals each.
You just can’t see how the team can get back to the front foot with such a shaky defence.[Probably the team can defend better if Bilic/Dicks are on the pitch]
the fullbacks are the 1st outlet of the attack and they shut down, how can Payet has any influence on the game, not even for route 1 football.
Individual mistakes are more accountable for this shocking defeat.

  • essexclarets says:

I take it you are going to repeat yourself on every thread tonight Kevin, just like last season you just want to pi$$ people off for the sake of it. You really are a sad little to$$er.

    • kevin says:

Essexclarets ; If I **** you off it’s because you know I am right … Hard to swallow ??
Take a pill and look at the History of West Ham a United .
Repeat myself ;; Damm right , and will continue to do so just as so many of you Tossers
That clamered to sack Sam . The truth will stab you as surely as you Tossers stabbed Big Sam . … You very Stupid little know nothing Tommy Tanker .
How long have you actually been a supporter of West Ham United ??,,, or do you only listen to the chat in pubs and go along with it because you are afraid to give your true , honest opinion . .. You know ,, street cred and all that **** !!!.
Sorry to most post writers , but that was a bit uneducated by “essexclarets “.. Found it hard to keep silent.
To Most Educated Fans ;; I am finding it hard to seperate the pre / post West Ham under the change in Manergment .

      • Don G says:

You really do need to think before you type Kevin. It seems to me you are doing yourself a real disservice this afternoon with your rants & thoughtless comments.Just sayin’

  • kevin says:

THE VERY LOUD MINORITY that wanted to out Big Sam should never have been given credence , let alone listened to and acted upon .. .. In my opinion it was a show of cowardice on the part of the CHAIRMEN …. TOO many fans jumped on the Band Wagon .
Don’t get me wrong , I want to see West Ham paying nice football whilst winning ,, but I fear some of you are living in cloud coookkkuuuoooo land .
Bournemouth didn’t play pretty Football , but they knew how to get a result … Something some fans have forgotten as a survival tactic …
As a fan I must now support BILIC ,,, but I really Don’t Want to anymore . He Makes me feel uncomfortable and unconfident as a supporter … BILIC Out . Yes , after 3 games .

    • Nolans Magic Feet says:

& you were the one that said you must have had your light bulb on at 30w to want Allardyce to stay. Now you write this rubbish. You are just an attention seeker Kevin.Go out on the street & flag down some drivers, tell them what crap you spout¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Don G says:

Minority wanted Allardyce out did they? Now you really are showing your limited knowledge.

    • GW says:

Kevin your a fan who I have nothing in common with, you are a trigger happy fan who doesn’t see the wood through the trees, you crow about the fat man yet gladly forget the **** he bought, chairman scared of scared of buying big due to the 18 million that he spent on a crock.. You blame Bilic yet never look at the squad your messiah bought that the poor ****er was left with.. You claim to be a fan of years but talk like a 10 year old you are the epitomy of what’s wrong in this day and age, an opinioted ******** who alleges a love for the club yet berates it at every opportunity

  • Nolans Magic Feet says:

Just wow,i have read my fair share of garbage on forums but i must say Kevin has just wrote the most moronic after match post i have ever seen.Kevin,i suggest you stay well away from your keyboard in future if this is tripe you post!!!!!

    • kevin says:

We can all be wrong , mate ,, when will you admit you were wrong .. I was wrong to give my strong support to BILIC and should have stuck to my Guns … My Fault entirely and I admit it …. But now it’s my honest opinion ,, hope he can prove me wrong for the sake of West Ham .
I don’t go out especially to insult or condem people for the things they may or may not have said ,, I don’t keep notebooks . ONLY ONE LOVE :: WEST HAM UNITED .. That’s how it is

      • Stingray Stewart says:

Wrong to give your support to Bilic. After three matches, one of which was a win at Arsenal you retract your support!! Sorry Kevin,i have never wanted to say it before but you are a clown sometimes.

        • kevin says:

Yes , I was wrong .. We got lucky against Arsenal because we caught them cold on a bad day .. Then everyone thought we were going to sail up the league with two home games against supposed inferior opposition … Work it out for yourself.
It ain’t so difficult . Blind Faith is a dangerous thing , my Friend .
But did you read that I said I was wrong and admit it ???.

      • Nolans Magic Feet says:

What do i have admit i am wrong about. You dont even know my standpoint.I was merely commenting that you have written a load of rubbish today & my opinion is being reinforced with every comment you keep leaving. You are manic & a lunatic from what i can see of it.A guy who withdraws his support of a manager after three games. What a mug!!!

  • johnham1 says:

Lets be clear the Manager is responsible, playing only two attacking players at home, crazy stuff. I fear if this is his approach. We have lost Downing and Valencia and not replaced them with a first class winger. My concern is that he does not see this – we are all talking about a striker but a striker will not score without quality service.

    • kevin says:

      Don’t understand his system , johnham1 .
Wish somebody would tell me or at least cast a light on it .
We need some players to fill some positions , that cannot be denied , but the system ??
Today we played with a kick and rush system that brings back memories ..

  • Stingray Stewart says:

Just got back from the game, came on here & as expected i find Kevin in meltdown but taking it to another level today.Kevin,as i have said before, you seem like a decent guy but tonight you are just embarressing yourself.

    • kevin says:

My opinions don’t embarrass me , stingray .
If your opinions embarrass you to the point where you say nothing you have a sad life .
Opinions Make the world spin ,, but your opinions can be manipulated if you let them .
Be honest is my opinion ,,, BILIC is a NO NO .

  • Iain Whufc says:

I have never posted on here before. But i am going crazy just reading without commenting. How many people need to tell you you are embarressing yourself, talking rubbish, being a fairweather fan, delusional, manic, lunatic & a total joke before one person takes the hint.I feel sorry for you guys on this site if you have too many more like Kevin on here.It is cringeworthy & laughable reading his comments. What a true fan who retracts his support of his clubs manager after three matches. What club needs fans like Kevin!!!

  • TysonM says:

OMG as the kids say, lol,i went to the game & quiet enjoyed it in a perverse way, lol.Anyway beer time now.I will leave the expert Kevin to start his Slaven Out Campaign, lol,Kevin you are a muppet sometimes 😉

  • TysonM says:

Btw,i think Kevin works for Hugh,he talks sh*t to get plenty of reaction & comments on the articles 😀

  • Chicken Runner says:

Ffs,Kev has gone into overdrive.Isnt a surprise though, the Sammerette was always only looking for an excuse to start his love affair with Hippohead again!

  • James Jones says:

The very thought of people still wanting or wishing for Allardyce back at our club makes we want to punch them so bloody hard, lol. No matter what has happened in the last two games i never ever want to imagine that dinosaur near our club again.Ashley has splashed nearly 50m at Newcastle,we have a net spend of about 18m.All the time we have no real budget of substance we will be in this situation. Most new managers get backed with funds, dont see Bilic can say he has been so far.Yes the defence was poor today but we are still lacking quality in a few positions. The chairmen aint got the bread, they talk the talk but thats as far as it goes imo.

  • James Jones says:

Oh & may i say that im so pleased i dont have to sit next to you in the ground Kevin.Though i guess you never go,just call for Bilics head from your armchair.

  • boys of 66 says:

Got to say having been today there are clearly things that need sorting out,but to come on here & read comments about Hippohead, like he was some god & ‘Bilic Out’ comments just blows my mind.Forums are set up for discussion & to a degree arguements & different opinions but some of the comments on here tonight are pathetic,i mean seriously pathetic.Shame most have come from the same fool.

  • billy hammer says:

Kevin, having read this you are officially a total tosser.

  • Donnie Mac says:

I hope this Kevin dude gets back to his lunatic asylum soon. Some of the most irrational, ranting comments i have ever read on a forum!

  • SlimJim says:

Nope, even in the cold light of day Kevins comments are still just as manic & crazy.Oh well,i was thinking maybe they would make more sense today.Nope, not at all!
