Hammer could depart on deadline day

Hammers winger Xande Silva is close to rejoin Aris Thessaloniki from West Ham most likely on a permanent basis according

Reports coming out of Greece suggest an official bid for Silva has been submitted and the Greek team and West Ham are in advanced talks.

Agreement is close to be finalized. He will sign a three-years contract as ARIS player the report suggests.

Silva joined Greek team Aris Thessaloniki FC last season on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season.

The former Portugal youth international has featured just once for the Under-23s so far last season having returned from a long-term lay-off in February to register three goals and a further assist at the end of the previous season.

Prior to his injury, the 23-year-old had featured twice for the West Ham United first team during the 2018/19 season, making his Premier League debut away at Burnley in December 2018.

It is a little saddening for Xande, who has had his career derailed by hospitalisation and injury. But I hope that he can come back from this, establish himself and play at a higher level eventually.
I wish him the very best for the future ⚒️⚒️
