Hammer returns to London Stadium

|

Keeper Darren Randolph has posted a photo of himself on social media training hard at the London Stadium.

The backup keeper has been out of the matchday squad suffering from a hip injury.

The senior squad have been training at the London Stadium for the past forty-eight hours before the visit of Arsenal on Sunday.

Writing on his personal Instagram page he wrote Hurt, pain, time, dedication, willpower, healthy decisions, sacrifice, temptation…But it will all be worth it ✨

Sometimes it’s nice to sit in places and think/focus on all the good times gone and good times to come ⚒ #positivevibes #affirmations #believe #trust 🙏🏽”

The picture could well indicate we could see him back on the bench tomorrow.

The 33-year-old has made just two Premier League appearances this season to cover Fabianski.

He only featured in four cup games, three EFL cup and one FA Cup game.

He continues to be the first choice keeper for the Republic of Ireland playing nine International games this season

Seven in the Nations League competition, one friendly and one in the European Championships.
