Hammers aim to seal critical deal this week

|

Talks aimed at clinching  Manuel Lanzin’s new Hammers deal will go ahead in London this week.

The midfield play maker has been inspirational form over the last couple of weeks and the new deal could not be better timed, once completed, as a result.

ClaretandHugh understands  the player’s main agent arrives from Argentina this week to tie up the contract which we understand has seen personal terms agreed with the player.

It will rocket Manu into the highest pay bracket at the London Stadium although details of personal terms and length of contract are being kept a closely guarded secret.

However, it’s fair to assume that the player first loaned at then bought from the Al Jazira club in 2014 is eet for a minimum four or five years with probably a two year option attached on a wage of around £100k a week.

Talks have been continuing over several months and the club are now confident they have the deal sorted with a source telling ClaretandHugh on the ‘phone: “A deal is close and we would hope to see it concluded over the next few days.”
