West Ham are definitely keen in striker Gabriel Barbosa currently on loan to Flamengo from Inter Milan.
West Ham have learned that the club are hunting high and low for a proven goal scorer in the January window and have CandH has learned the interest in ‘Gabigol’ is real.
Although the winter window has always been a poor time to get top quality strikers, there has been a lot of discussion about ‘Gabigol’ who will be offered terms of £80,000 in a bid to bring him to the club.
The striker has had an amazing goals record since joining Flamengo on loan from Inter scoring 43 goals in 58 games for the club.
The 23 year old Brazilian contract expires on on the 31st December which would be perfect timing for the Irons to pick him up but the player has to decide whether he wants to remain on an offered deal in Brazil or chance his arm in the Primier League.
Sure that he has already said he doesn’t want to sign for us, would rather sign for Liverpool.
Most players would rather play for Liverpool, he probably won’t have that choice and money always talks
He would be sat on the bench every week Ian or play in the reserves like last night in their Caraboa cup fiasco at Villa.
No Chance of this happening as stated he wants a bigger club than us !!!!!!
£80000 a week for an unproven striker in this league. He hardly tore trees up at Inter either. Another expensive mistake?
