Hammers deny way off target manager story

|

Flores (1)Mischief making speculation that David Moyes will be sacked in favour of  former Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores next summer has been totally denied by West Ham.

Inevitably the ‘story’ appeared in The Sun where it was claimed the Irons board have him as number one on their wanted list.

But the Hammers immediately rapped out a denial to ClaretandHugh when a top source insisted: ” This is SIMPLY NOT TRUE.

The job is there for David Moyes to grab. Were he not to do well enough to stay on only then the club would look to see who is available and decide from there.”
He indicated however that Flores would be a very long way down a list of candidates in those circumstances saying: “We have never approached him or never even thought about him !”
We aren’t thinking about next season at all. The only thing that matters is the rest of this one.”

I was surprised Watford sacked him did good w Watford but they sacked Jokanovic too after he got them promotion.
That is there style every year even if good mgr. So far as worked for them…
I like Flores but focused on Moyes and the up coming games.
We will always be linked everyone like top 6 clubs are just need to start finishing up there!

If Moyes does so badly the club don’t offer him the job in June we will be in the Championship. Then Flores would not even answer the phone when they call him! Quiet week with no PL rubbish for The Sun to rake over.
