Hammers exits for homeland

Hammers under 23 Frederik Alves has joined Brøndby IF on a permanent transfer after failing to make a single appearance for the Irons first team.

The Denmark U21 international moves has clinched his move back to his homeland after 13 months in east London  having  joined the Hammers from Danish club Silkeborg in December 2020.

He managed 12 Premier League 2 Division 1 appearances last season and joined his national squad for the the UEFA European U21 Championship finals, where Denmark reached the quarter-finals.

The 22-year-old spent the first half of this season on loan at Sunderland in EFL League One, where he featured three times in the League, twice in the Papa John’s Trophy, once in the Emirates FA Cup and three times in the Carabao Cup.
