Hammers eyeing Man Utd man and Chelsea ace on loan

West Ham are interested in loan deals for Manchester United’s Eric Bailly and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher, sources have confirmed to C&H.

The Hammers are attempting to strengthen their squad ahead of the transfer deadline and are pressing ahead with a move for PSG’s Thilo Kehrer, who could join before the clash with Brighton.

But there is also a desire to explore the loan market and Bailly has emerged as a potential target, along with Gallagher.

The Manchester United man has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and only made four Premier League appearances last season.

Gallagher, by comparison, thrived on loan at Crystal Palace, earning an England call-up, but has returned to Chelsea, and does not appear to be a regular starter under boss Thomas Tuchel.

The Hammers would like to take Gallagher on loan as they aim to add some creativity in midfield, while Bailly would add depth at centre-back.

Elsewhere, there is also a feeling that Chelsea striker Armando Broja may become available in the final week of the transfer window, and the Irons are keeping a close eye on his situation, although any deal is a long shot, particularly after Gianluca Scamacca arrived permanently.
