Hammers headers lead the way

Hammer Declan Rice scored for against Iceland for England this evening, the first West Ham player to do so since Matthew Upson.

After twenty minutes Jack Grealish won a free-kick and a Phil Foden’s delivery from the left found Declan Rice who just gets ahead of his man to tickle in a header into the far corner.

The Nations League meeting at Wembley finished 4-0 to the Lions leaving them third in group A2.

Not to be outdone by his defensive midfield teammates Hammer Tomas Soucek was also the first on the score sheet for the  Czech Republic this evening.

Like Rice, Tomas Soucek with his Czech teammate Vladimir Coufal started the game against Slovakia.

On 17 minutes Tomas Soucek’s header from the centre of the box found the bottom left corner to make it 1-0 to the Czech Republic.

The UEFA nations league match- puts the Czech Republic top of Group B2

    Thought it was funny when Mount told a reporter that Rice had scored with his shoulder. And Declan admitted it.
