It seems West Ham are not waiting for Axel Disasi’s decision – which could easily go against Nuno’s side- and are pressing on with a defender signing in the next day or so to bolster their back line ahead of the Championship season.
Disasi has agreed terms but asked for a week to ‘consider’ – which really means ‘hope for something better’ – and the Irons have their season opener this weekend so need to make plans whatever the Frenchman decides.

Isn’t Veltman a right back? Hardly a Disasi replacement. Also understand Palace have SCR issues surrounding signing players so I don`t see Disasi joining them anytime soon.
The French are known 4 being thinkers. so i don’t blame him 4 asking 4 a week 2 think it over. after all he is 29 next week, so coming 2 the end of his time playing football.
But iv got a feeling in me water that come Wednesday Nuno get a phone-call–from him saying ”Lets-Do-This” because the way i see it. when he was celebrating a goal 8 times out of 10 he was the first guy jumping on the goal-scorers and celebrate with him with that huge smile on his face.

I somehow think when the identity is resolved it won’t be anyone who could be thought of as a replacement for Disasi. If Nuno had any common sense he would take a deep breath call Todibo into his office, lock the door and try to thrash out a solution that keeps him at the club. This is a time for pragmatism, not personal pride based outcomes
I think Nuno has a lot of sense by the way, which is why he has achieved so much in his career as a person/player/manager. Todibo has completely digressed over the last 7 years and fallen out with 4 managers, he is French, the previous comment said they are thinkers, about what , how to upset a squad full of players when your manager makes tactical changes and you refuse to play for him again, from that moment his wage should have been frozen, would not know how to spell loyalty in English or French.

Axel Disasi asking for a week to consider is a really positive action. It does not necessarily mean that he is holding out for something ‘better’. Accepting the West Ham offer is a life changing decision which affects the futures of Axel and his family. The decision needs to be the correct one.
Just a shame that Todibo and a few others had not taken the time to think things out before they agreed to give it a bit of a go with us. Agents don’t help in these matters.
