Hammers injury updates

|

Tomas Soucek is 90 per cent certain to be available for the match at Anfield on Saturday afternoon after suffering injury against Southampton.

Whether he will be selected given his current form levels in view of the injury he sustained last night  is of course another question.

He received a boot in the face and his eye looked a mess – which resulted in round seven minutes injury time – as he sat on the bench after being subbed in the second half.

We understand that he received five stitches into the injury but have been told this morning that he looks certain to be available for the game.

Right back Ryan Fredericks is also expected to be available  having been reported as making a decent recovery from a low grade groin injury.

He may be in line to start after Ben Johnson gave a no more than average performance in the game against Southampton last night.
