West Ham are set to reopen contract talks with Declan Rice around Christmas.

The Hammers haven’t yet given up on convincing the skipper to stay and will hope that Mark Noble’s return as sporting director in January will help persuade his big friend to agree a new deal.

But ITK ExWHUEmployee has added that a new deal will be put to Jarrod Bowen and of course Ben Johnson is another the club are keen to re-sign.

Declan has been offered £200,000 a week thus far and the club are ready to make a new offer despite his father and agent Declan so far having turned them down.

The club’s current position will not help anything, but insiders believe that there may be a chance of doing if the Hammers are heading upwards by Christmas.

Ex revealed: “Further offers will be made soon in the hope that they all commit to new and longer-term deals with an increase in wages for all of them.”

It is no secret that the club have been attempting to persuade Rice down to a new deal for some time, with the England star a source of never-ending transfer speculation.
