West Ham may be Forced to sell Bowen

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham may soon have to sanction the sale of Jarrod Bowen if he fails to sign a new deal over the next few months.

Claret and Hugh‘s key source inside the club has made it clear the club remain very confident of doing a deal with the club’s new main man.

Forced to sell Bowen. West Ham are desperate for star to sign a new deal.

But if his agents continue to tough it out in negotiations and a deal can’t be sorted the club will find itself in much the same position as it was with Declan Rice – looking for the best price it can get with a year left on the No 20’s deal.

Nine months to go before Hammers forced to sell Bowen

That worst case scenario remains some way off with the club having another nine months to arrive at a deal suitable to both sides.

Jarrod has been an astonishing buy at around £20 million and were the Hammers be forced to sell they would not consider anything below £75 million for a winger/striker who already has five goals to his name from seven games so far this season.
