Hammers may be set to move in on King

|

Josh King is again emerging as a major contender to join the Hammers as the club attempt to find a striker to support Michail Antonio.

In reality we need two because one signing will leave us precisely where we were before it became apparent that Sebastian Haller was on his way.

Latest news on that appears to be that  the Frenchman passed his medical on Thursday will join Ajax on Friday after the Dutch outfit negotiated personal terms with the Frenchman’s representatives.

With Ajax’s move developing quickly the Hammers are having to speed up their moves for a second striker in a transfer window when options are very limited.

However, the Bournemouth front man has been played rarely by his club this season which – despite neutral observations on his position from manager Jason Tindall – appears to suggest the club don’t want to risk an injury as they possibly look for a fee.

King is Too old. He will be past it or injured before we know it. We should go after the young lad from Sparta Prague Adam hlozek. Will be a superstar.

It might be possible that we have gone in under the radar for someone (which could include King) – that seems to be Moyes’ style – who knew that we would be getting Coufal before it happened – not nice for journalists but not bad for WHU

The two I would like us to sign is the Slavia Prague youngster Plotek and I would 100% resign Arnie. I dont like the links to Dembelle and Giroud. If we get Arnie and Pliotek in plus cover or competition for Rice and Soucek in midfield, it would be incredible. I dont believe King will bring us to another level but Arnie and this SP youngster with our own up and coming young player will give us a chance.

No. Just no. Not King. Not now, or ever. Moyes could not be seriously considering this!?. Maybe it’s a distraction tactic to avert other teams from our actual targets (whoever they are).

I’d take Marko (pay per game? Bonus per goal/assist) before King. He might be an ego-driven ****, but so is Ibrahimovic and look at AC go this year! MA has proven that he can work with and thrive under Moyes’ direction…

Having said that, I really hope we find someone else who really wants to play for the shirt!
