Amazon Prime Video have selected their first 20 Premier League fixtures and they have chosen the London derby between the Irons and Palace as one of them.
The new big player in the football broadcasting have named their games and has exclusive rights for the round of games between December 15-17, when they will screen all 10 matches.
The Hammers will feature against Palace on the 15th with the match at the London Stadium being booked for a Tuesday night 7.45 kick off.
They are now a serious broadcaster in the game and will no doubt be making an advance on last season’s coverage which received a mixed response.
Frankly we found their coverage a refreshing change from the stereotyped approach of Sky in particular with their regular round of pundits and BT Sport.
Among the other games they have landed are Liverpool v the Spuds and the clash betrween Champions League hopefuls Wolves and Chelsea
Their coverage of our matches was reasonable but sometimes pundits were just too Liverpool focused even though they weren’t being shown.
