Hammers set for London friendlies

|

West Ham will play two London friendlies next week when West Ham will face QPR next Wednesday with Crystal Palace to follow next Saturday.

Players returned to Rush Green to train in small social distanced groups from mid-March after keeping fit at home with contact training resuming ten days ago on Thursday 28th May.

David Moyes became the first Premier League team to train at an empty stadium with his players in full kit to prepare them for the restart of football.

With ten full days remaining (excluding days off) before the West Ham plays their first league competitive game for 105 days, Moyes and his backroom staff are pushing to get the whole squad as close to match fitness as the time allows.

The two behind closed doors friendlies will not be broadcast and will be low key affairs designed only to get both sets of players ready for action.
