Grady Diangana has been with the first team this week and has everything crossed that he makes the match day squad for the massive derby against Spurs on Saturday afternoon.

After his dazzling appearance against Macclesfield and stepping off the bench to make his debut in the League against Manchester United, an appearance against the north Londoners would be the icing on the cake.

He explained: “I can’t believe it still, but I’m taking it one step at a time. I’m working hard and I’m going to keep working hard.

“We’ve been training hard over the international break, I’ve been coming in after training and my head’s hurting because I’ve been working hard so much. But the group is really training well and the intensity is up so that’s good.

“I’m really looking forward to Saturday’s game. We’ll be against some of the top players in the world but I’m more focused on our team and what we can do. Hopefully we can get the win.”

It’s a busy weekend at under 18 and under 23 level as the teenagers take on Chelsea at Little Heath Sport Ground on Saturday at 11 am with Terry Westley and Jack Collison in charge on while on Sunday the under 23s travel to Swansea on Sunday for a 1pm kick off.
