Hammers still wait for response on striker

|

speaks_with_simone_zaza_338897West Ham still haven’t completed a deal which will see the removal of an appearance clause from Simone Zaza’s loan deal and are hoping Naples will take the flop off their hands.

Talks with parent club Juventus have been going on for several weeks but the club have yet to receive a definite response from the Italian outfit on a re-arranged deal.

However, with Naples showing some interest the Irons would far sooner offload the player altogether and make room in the wages bill for a winter signing.

Valencia are also believed to have shown an interest but whatever happens the player will not be retained by the Hammers on the basis of the current deal.

We were told that in the worst possible circumstances of their being no other buyer or an unwillingness by Juve to  drop the appearance clause Zaza would face a zero future.

The player has no chance of being used in 14 appearances which would see him sit the rest of the season out an- d nd that is of no use to the Italians who would see the player’s value drop dramatically.

ClaretandHugh was told: “We await a response from Juventus but our position is written in tablets of stone – there will be no permanent deal.”

West Ham don’t play the way that suits players like Zaza . The failure lies with both partners failing to understand the system and neither are suited to each other . In a club that plays a different kind of football he would flurrish . Ball players and technical ability are strangers to West Ham .

Sorry Kevin are you really saying that we don’t have players both past and present who don’t have technical ability and are not ball players😂⚒seriously

Been a supporter too long for those comments . Past talent was far supior to those of today . We seem lost as to how we should be playing .

Kevin I fink you need to do a catch up on last season and look at the goals we scored and you will see all the technical and ball skills that you need to see⚒👌

….or you could look at this season….like the ‘Romanian Farmers era’,or the Accrington Stanley game, where we were V.Lucky to see 1 lovely slice of ‘technical ability’.But to be truthful,i’m almost sure, ‘Passing Accuracy’ comes under the’Technical Ability’ banner,& we & Accrington had ZERO in that game.check the stats.FKG EMBARRASING!!!

He can’t even trap a ball. The real Zaza was the bloke who fluffed the penalty for Italy during the summer and that’s the player we’ve landed ourselves with.

I have been following WHU for over 40yrs and I can not remember seeing such a worthless player given so much time to try to adjust and not do it , I am struggling to remember anything that he has done on the pitch in any game worthy of such a high price tag — Can anyone remember anything he has done worthy mentioning ??- Anything ???
