Hammers told to work closely on forged statuses

|

West Han have been instructed to work closely with the London Stadium operators on the consequences should forged COVID status documentation be presented and discovered.

They have also claimed that good industry practice should be found whilst suggesting the possibility that Premier League could close doors if  clubs are not “COVID secure match ready.”

Minutes from the Newham led London Stadium Safety Advisory Group in September say the Club told the safety group they feel well-positioned to deal with any emergency measures in preparation for any new COVID guidance and mandatory requirements.

COVID Officers in purple high visibility vests have since been launched since the safety meeting although it remains unclear what consequences are in place for forged OCVID passes, failure to show vaccinated status or a negative lateral flow test.

Many commentators across the Premier League clubs believe, however, that the regulations are just for show without any real enforcement.
