Companies house has this morning confirmed the appointment of four new directors to West Ham’s parent company board W H Holding Limited.
New investor Daniel Kretinsky is officially appointed to the main board along with his Czech right hand man Pavel Horsky.
Mr. Horský has been working for Mr Kretinsky’s EPH group since 2009. He holds the position of Chief Financial Officer of the group, with main responsibilities in areas of financing, treasury, tax, risk management and co-ordination and management of group companies. Mr. Horský is also a member of the Management Board of parent company Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s., EP Infrastructure, a.s. or EP Power Europe, a.s. as well several subsidiaries of the group. Prior to joining EPH, Mr. Horský held the position of market risks advisory at Royal Bank of Scotland. Horský holds a master’s degree in mathematics and physics from Masaryk University in Brno
Son of chairman David Sullivan Junior and Dan Cunningham husband of Jacqueline Gold have also join the board of directors permanently.
This looks like a sensible move as both Czechs are experienced business men, one a lawyer and the other qualified in finance. The next generation of Gold and Sullivan families indicates they are likely to stay involved long term. All gives us stability and the necessary skills to negotiate with London Development Corporation for ownership for long lease for whole site.
