Hammers transfer news & gossip by Gonzo
Don’t shoot the messenger on the these latest rumours folks. I’ve trawled the interweb looking for the latest Hammers news but I’m afraid it’s slim pickings.
Once we’ve ignored the frequently covered fishing grounds of Ward-Prowse and Declan, there ain’t a lot left.
Of course this is all perfectly understandable that stories are thin on the ground. To stay on the nautical theme it’s fair to say West Ham have a far bigger Conference type fish to fry.
Transfer rumours may be sparse but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any.
Boulaye Dia
Here’s one we’ve heard before which might lend more weight to the story. Reportedly the 26-year-old striker is on David Moyes’s Christmas list to replace Michail Antonio.
Dia has been on loan at Salernitana this season where he has scored 16 goals and picked up six assists. He’s strong so could possibly thrive in English football and he could be an asset in David Moyes system.
Dario Osorio
No, I don’t have a clue either, but the South American media are linking him to us.
Evidently we’ve bid £5 million for the Universidad de Chile attacking midfielder but honestly, I’ve never heard of him.
A brief Google search will tell you that the lad is 19 and he’s played nine games for his club. Leicester and Fulham are also rumoured to be interested.
If that signing happens I’ll eat my fisherman’s hat.
