Zarate actionMauro Zarate, James Tomkins and Guy Demel are all struggling for fitness ahead of the clash against Manchester City at the weekend.

Manager Sam Allardyce looks set to stay with the team that performed so brilliantly against Burnley in the second half on Saturday.

The three injured players are unlikely to feature on the bench and at this moment no return date in given for them.

Zarate took a knock in training whilst Tomkins and Demel are both suffering from hip and thigh injuries and again no return dates are given for them.

Manchester City, meanwhile, suffered no problems in their European Champions Cup clash against CSKA last night.
