|

West Ham faces Championship side Brentford at the London Stadium this Saturday, 29th August with a 2 pm kick-off with the game set to be streamed live.

The pre-season freindly will be streamed for free by the club with details surrounding coverage announced late today but Youtube and Facebook the likely mediums.

The Hammers first faced Brentford in 1898 in the Southern League second division, in that game on 24th September the Hammers came off the 3-1 victors.

The two teams have played each other 48 times with 22 wins for the Hammers, 15 wins for the Bees and 11 draws.

The pair last played in the League in Division one in 1993 when West Ham beat Brentford 4-0 where Peter Butler, Kevin Keen, Trevor Morley and Martin Allen scored the goals.

David Moyes should have a chance to take a closer look at Rico Henry, Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma all of which have been linked in reports to West Ham in recent weeks.
