Publicly the club are putting a brave face on the situation with the Arnautovics telling journalists that Marko has a contract which he signed in January and they expect him to honour it. However, in reality, the club has reluctantly accepted he wants out and will accept a sensible offer for the striker who joined from Stoke City for £20m in 2017.
West Ham rejected a £35.8m bid in January this year from a Chinese club and yesterday rejected another bid of £19.7m from an unnamed club from China.
Arnautovic signed a new contract worth an extra £20,000 per week in the winter adding a further 12 months to his deal and a release clause of £40m time limited to June.
That release clause was not triggered and Marko’s brother has been actively touting him out to other clubs several of which have contacted West Ham to tip them off.
A senior club source talking to Claret and Hugh via EMail said: “The brother has touted him everywhere, not us, We know from several clubs. We’ve offered him to nobody, but as he wants to leave we’d accept a sensible offer with the greatest reluctance”
Cash in , get rid of him and let somebody else suffer his greed issues . He surely is very aware the fans don’t want him . He wants to be numero uno and with the talent surrounding him at West Ham knows he won’t be ., especially with new talent probably on the way .
Call him a cab and make him pay for it . We don’t need greedy disrespectful trouble makers in our Club .
COYHAMMERS
Agreed, lets take 25 million
I’m a cabbie I’d take him for *** all just to get rid. ***** ⚒⚒
He’s a disruptive element at our club we definitely don’t need. Who puts in a shift when it suits him.
Let’s cash in sooner rather than later.
Come on You Irons !
I’ve not ever really liked him, but now he’s just a greedy little hunt of a man, now go and be done with you, good riddance to bad rubbish.
Your good player when you decide to play.
