Fans want him gone but not at £19 million

|

West Ham fans have sent a message that Mark Arnautovic should be forced to stay at the club until any interested outfit pay the market valuation – not the £19m apparently on offer currently.

A ClaretandHugh poll posed the question as to whether he should be allowed to leave following a £19 million offer from the orient.

With over 1800 voting a total of 1,156 have (62.28pc)  have voted that he should stay with 700 (37.32 pc) agreeing he should move on.

There’s little question among them that were the offer to be at between £25-£30 million then they would wave him a very happy goodbye after the destabilising attitude of him and his brother over the last several months.

Among the comments accompanying the vote were:

O 20 per cent pay back to Stoke…bin him off for £35m

O Hopefully we can get a few more million but if that money doesn’t come in, get rid of  before he ruins another season.

O Get rid and he can rot in China

O They have a contract to honour. I would rather let him rot in the reserves for 4 years than sell him on the cheap. A message needs to be sent. If you sign a contract, you honour it, or pay your own way out of it so the club secures the valuation it requires.

We only need players that would give heart and soul for the club always gonna be trouble with a weasel agent for a brother get rid now don’t want him in our shirt even for the reserves

  • Dom says:

If 19m is all that comes in, do the deal. The cost of having him at the club will be far more expensive in the long run.

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

anything £30m or over would do for me, it would allow us to get our money back on him but make sure he hands in a transfer request and pays back any loyaltyor signing on bonuses if they have been paid since his last contract renewal in January.
