Slaven Bilic is keeping his team selection for today’s match against Spurs entirely quiet until just before kick off with the guessing game continuing to exercise the minds of most Hammers fans.
The “will he won’t he play Hernandez” mystery has been occupying most thoughts over the last 24 hours but to be frank it would be a massive decision to leave him on the bench.
Most of us have seen the team selection as straightforward apart from choosing three of four up top where Antonio, Arnautovic, Carroll and Hernandez are jostling for positions.
But there is another way for the manager to go but it would involve him in leaving skipper Mark Noble on the bench thus allowing him to play all four.
This could be the team Bilic might name and we hope it is as it looks strong in all positions:
Hart; Reid, Ogbonna, Fonte; Zabaleta, Cresswell; Antonio, Kouyate, Arnautovic, Hernandez, Carroll.
looks a disaster to me,that midfield will be completely turned over by spurs,it’s clear why Billic wanted the 2 midfield players we didn’t get,our midfield is weak and leaves our defence exposed
Agreed Dan, and leaves a back four totally exposed. Beyond me why so many experts cannot understand how much better we are with a back five.
Urmmm Antonio being played inna central
Midfield role is ludicrous!
You just move zabaleta from wing back to centre back and stick Antonio wing back.
There you have arnie, Carroll and Hernandez up top.
Cresswell and Antonio wing backs.
Fonte Reid zabalata as the centre back pairing.
And in midfield, Kouyate and noble.
Noble will play. The only player who really knows what this match means.
Hi might know what it means but he is awful . If Capt Very Slow plays we will lose . Loyalty does not replaceability. In Noble’s case it costs points … he is terrible .
COYI
Shut up you idiot. Same comments every time his name is mentioned. Give it a rest.
So much for all gobbing off about Bilic being obsessed by Carroll…wahaha..idiots.
That’s a good team with Carroll, Ayew and Sakho to come on if needed.
