Thank Christ it’s not that crap we saw at the beginning of the week,I might actually buy this one,as the top team in London let the others take the **** but we will be the top team this year as well,
But more to the point we have always been number 1 where the fans are concerned,
We lead they follow but at a distance

Im glad it says ‘Queen Lizzy’s Olympic Park’ & not ‘Mahindra Stadium

The London bit I like, I’m from London & I’m proud of it, Let the world know that we are the real Londoners 🙂

  • Radai Lama says:

They must have both gone out for a pint with Kevin lunchtime, they are on a downer 🙂

  • EastStandTeddy says:

Thanks Essexclaret,Thanks TRB,i was a little disgruntled that no one disliked it.You have restored my faith in West Ham fans to have the ability to find any damn thing to moan about. The good times are back lol

    • essexclarets says:

Hold on there EST, i never said i didn’t like it i just dont like the tacky union jack on the sleeve. 😉

  • mattefumi27 says:

I honestly find the London over the badge an added value, a sense of belonging to your city. Whether it likes it or not, the whole world knows West Ham is a London football club lol 😉

  • Billy the Hammer says:

    Looks like you are TRB.

  • TRB says:

Am I the only one who doesn’t like it? It looks like the designer completely ran out of ideas for the neck. Not a patch on this last years’ design.

  • Billy the Hammer says:

I dont get this big deal over the London on the badge.I read some sado say we would have the **** taken out of us by other fans.WTF.If The Spuds put London on their badge or Chelski did I wouldnt give a sh1t.They play in London dont they,so what’s the big deal, the same for us.Any club in the capital can do the same & it wouldn’t surprise me if they do it in the future.

  • essexclarets says:

Nice shirt but whats with the union jack on the sleeves?? I don’t get it, we already have to put up with London on the badge now we have to tell everyone we are british aswell. We play in the English Premier League for a start.
    How long will it be before we get;
‘Who the F**k do West Ham think they are? They think they represent the UK now” etc etc “just a ploy to sell more shirts to tourists who will buy anything with Union Jack on it”

    • Billy the Hammer says:

Well I might be wrong but I should imagine other clubs who have new Umbro kits coming out will have the union jack on the sleeve as well. There is some theme this season about identity or some sh1t like that with Umbro. So don’t slag us just yet till we see other clubs sleeves Lol

  • Radai Lama says:

It’s quality isnt it.Looks really nice.Tbh I really aint bothered about the London bit on the badge.Give it a season & people wont even think about it being an issue.

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

looks good can’t wait to get one

  • EastStandTeddy says:

It looks good doesnt it lads & thankfully a skillion miles away from some of the mock ups we saw, which was always going to be case wasn’t it.I really like the union flag touch on it.Im not sure how pleased our Italian fan matte will be though having to to walk around with it on his arm lol

    • mattefumi27 says:

hahhaha… don’t worry Teddy, DG & DS called me and they assured me they’ll produce a special version with the Italian flag just for me. 😀

  • niall_mcdonald says:

For me if it’s got the claret body and blue sleeves I’m happy, so this looks good.
The ‘london’ and union jack branding is subtle but actually looks very effective

  • mattefumi27 says:

I like it, I’m definitely going to the OS next year and I’ll buy it. But my Payet shirt I bought at the Boleyn this year when Dimi scored that incredible free kick against Palace, well… that shirt is a little treasure, it’s priceless, a precious memory of the Boleyn Ground. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world… maybe only for a night with Kelly Brook lol 😉

  • Hammerfish69 says:

Just hope I can buy it from the retailers in Ireland this time.

  • Hammerfish69 says:

Looks good!! I must admit that I wasn’t keen on changing the old crest but this doesn’t look too bad. As long as the home shorts and socks are white should be a bit of kit.

  • HamburgHammer says:

It was always going to be a very classic no-nonsense design for our first season in the OS.
You can’t really go wrong with a simple claret body and blue sleeves and I also think the simplified crest works really well on the shirts too.

I like it. I reckon they’ll be slightly more adventurous with the away shirt, using loops, stripes or maybe even the shard patterns from the OS, who knows ?

  • Gobby says:

It looks good from what I can see of it.
