Cresswell Justifiably sent off via a piece of horrendous defending when he got the wrong side of the last man, pulled him back and after the VAR room became involved saw red. Let everybody down but chiefly himself 0
Rice Led from the front – couldn’t have worked harder in the most difficult of circumstances 7
Soucek Got forward at every conceivable opportunity and defended well 7
Fornals Worked hard and was tenacious but Frankfurt were always calling the shots in midfield 5
Lanzini: Off early after the Cresswell disaster -no chance to show his game 4
Bowen: The usual tremendous work rate particularly un the second half but the odds were always against him in such difficult circumstances 6

How can you give Antonio 4? Completed isolated throughout, ran himself into the ground and was central to virtually everything we did that created chances. I know he’s frustrating but give him his credit tonight.
