Jack Wilshere has again been ruled out of Saturday’s fixture with an ankle injury  and with Lucas Perez involved in a fitness race, the Irons are again on the back foot.

Speaking to reporters at the pre-Fulham presser manager Maneul Pellegrini revealed:”Jack Wilshere continues his treatment with his ankle. He will not be involved in this game.

“Lucas Perez has a pain in his instep [after being injured during the first half of last Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace]. We are reviewing it. Tomorrow we will know exactly who will be in the squad.

However, Andy Carroll is fit and looks likely to line up alongside either Perez – if fit – and Chicharito with Pellegrini saying: “He first played in the friendly game we had against Brentford and now he played 45 minutes and [won the free-kick] that allowed us to score the second goal [against Crystal Palace].

“He did a lot of good work for our team and we will see what happens with him this week.”

“I think one of the merits of this team is having six or seven injuries and winning the last three games.“e continue with the same amount of players and we know we have to play a lot of games during December and January so I hope that we continue with the same spirit with the players who are able to do it.

Difficult to see where he would fit in at the moment even if fit considering the way Snodgrass and the rest of the lads are playing.
